About Us

Whether you’re unsure if you even believe in God, you’re a devoted Catholic your entire life, or you’re somewhere in between, we all have something in common- we are on a journey. Every single one of us is seeking a life full of meaning, love, and joy. We have been created by God, and we are called to return to Him.  This lifelong process of venturing to heaven inspired this program “Journey – Together in Christ” or “Journey”, for short.

It is becoming more common for a bundle of parishes to share the same priest and other ministry personnel to make the most of our resources. The city of La Crosse is no exception. In 2022, six parishes of the city combined their faith formation programs into one to serve more effectively. This cooperative consists of four local parishes striving to lead souls to Christ.

Journey has a unique identity. Our goal is to provide faith formation and Sacramental preparation programs for ALL the parishes in the city of La Crosse which invest in this shared program. It’s not one single parish in charge. It’s a collaboration among them all. Unifying the unique and diverse parishes into shared programs is a challenge we embrace. God has been blessing us abundantly. Many youth and families are growing in their love for Jesus and His Church. No matter where you are in your faith or which parish you belong to, we want to accompany you on your journey in Christ.
